The REOTEMP MM24 Long Stem Moisture Meter allows you to measure relative moisture of tree roots soil and compost piles. The meter indicates the moisture content of your compost pile or soil sample by means of a sensor at the bottom of the 24 probe. The probe is sensitive only at the tip. Calibrate the instrument by inserting the tip into an ideal sample of compost or soil and adjusting the needle to a 5 on the 0 to 10 scale.
